My professional Attorney Profile states where I went to school, my degrees, my professional associations, and publications. As the relationship between a workers’ compensation attorney and their injured worker client entails frequent client contact about personal medical and financial problems, here are a few more details about what kind of person I am.
My father is a criminal defense attorney, here in Las Vegas, NV. My mother was a prominent workers' compensation attorney, here in Las Vegas, NV. It was working in my mother's office, starting at age 16, where I developed a passion for the law and a desire to help injured workers. My mother was a funny, kind-hearted, and a hard-working woman that truly took pride in helping people when they needed it most. She remains my inspiration for being a lawyer. It is the values I learned working for her at 16 years old that I carry into my practice of law, how I treat my clients, and run my office.
During my first year of law school, my mother passed of cancer and so did my dreams of working with her at her office. However, my passion for workers' compensation law and helping injured workers never diminished. I spent my first year out of law school working, solely in workers' compensation, for a larger local firm, before I decided to venture on my own as a sole practitioner.
When not working, I'm usually outside with my dogs. I enjoy traveling, playing and watching sports, working on my horrible golf game, and remodeling my home.
