{"id":201,"date":"2010-07-19T09:50:00","date_gmt":"2010-07-19T09:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jhwlawoffice.com\/nevada-workers-comp-law-blog\/?p=201"},"modified":"2015-04-28T11:43:00","modified_gmt":"2015-04-28T11:43:00","slug":"advanced-settlement-loan-companies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jhwlawoffice.com\/nevada-workers-comp-law-blog\/2010\/07\/articles\/miscellaneous\/advanced-settlement-loan-companies\/","title":{"rendered":"Advanced Settlement Loan Companies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Occasionally, one of my clients asks me to sign a lien agreement&nbsp;with &nbsp;a company offering to advance money to the client based on the client&#8217;s potential permanent partial disability award at the end of his claim.&nbsp; I have never agreed to sign one of these agreements.&nbsp; These advance settlement firms have been around a long time in the personal injury world, but are now beginning to show up with greater frequency in the &nbsp;workers&#8217; compensation arena.
