{"id":1994,"date":"2023-05-27T00:44:13","date_gmt":"2023-05-27T00:44:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jhwlawoffice.com\/nevada-workers-comp-law-blog\/?p=1994"},"modified":"2023-05-27T00:44:13","modified_gmt":"2023-05-27T00:44:13","slug":"ppd-evaluation-exam-cost-rises-in-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jhwlawoffice.com\/nevada-workers-comp-law-blog\/2023\/05\/articles\/information-center\/ppd-evaluation-exam-cost-rises-in-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"PPD Evaluation Exam Cost Rises in 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>While the cost of a Permanent Partial Disability (PPD) exam usually falls on the workers\u2019 compensation insurer, there are rare situations when the burden falls on an injured worker.<\/strong> Unfortunately, this burden just got a bit heavier for the injured workers to carry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Effective February 1, 2023, the cost of a PPD evaluation for 2 body parts rose from $911.26 to $950.04.<\/strong> Every year the Nevada Medical Fee Schedule changes in February.
