{"id":114,"date":"2010-01-14T06:50:00","date_gmt":"2010-01-14T06:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jhwlawoffice.com\/nevada-workers-comp-law-blog\/?p=114"},"modified":"2015-04-28T12:18:27","modified_gmt":"2015-04-28T12:18:27","slug":"mileage-reimbursement-update-january-2010","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jhwlawoffice.com\/nevada-workers-comp-law-blog\/2010\/01\/articles\/benefits\/mileage-reimbursement-update-january-2010\/","title":{"rendered":"Mileage Reimbursement-Update January 2010"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/&lt;http:\/\/dirweb.state.nv.us\/wcs\/mileage.pdf&gt;\">State of Nevada DIR&nbsp;<\/a>announced that mileage reimbursements to injured workers traveling to and from medical care or for vocational rehabiliation purposes has been decreased from 55 cents a mile to 50 cents a mile, effective January 1, 2010.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The regulations for mileage reimbursement of travel expenses are found at <a href=\"http:\/\/   http:\/\/www.leg.state.nv.us\/NAC\/NAC-616C.html#NAC616CSec150\">NAC616C.150<\/a>.&nbsp; The request for reimbursement should be on the <a href=\"http:\/\/dirweb.state.nv.us\/Forms\/d-26.pdf\">DIR&nbsp;form D-26,<\/a> which has the rules for reimbursement on the back side.&nbsp; Please be sure to send in your reimbursement request form to your adjuster within 60 days of the date of your first trip on the form.&nbsp;
